New online postural assessment service from Bristol osteopathy clinic

With many more people working from home, I’ve launched a new online postural assessment service from my Bristol osteopathy clinic, designed to give a thorough and professional ergonomic assessment of my patient’s postures.

This online live video call service is a great way to assess the work place at home during the Covid-19 lockdown, as well as giving advice on how to improve working environment and prevent unnecessary back pain, neck pain spinal injuries, as well as reducing the risks of RSI and related injuries.

This is particularly relevant at the moment, with many people in Bristol utilising temporary work spaces and home offices in their homes to continue being productive and maintaining work output during the lockdown period.

The live, online-based consultation is simple and straightforward: I will visually assess a patient’s posture and work place at home, discuss any issues they might be experiencing, and chat about ways to change and improve their sitting position and overall work place health.

This new online osteopathy service costs £20, lasts for roughly 30 minutes, and can be booked online – see below for details. I’m always available for a call first, if a patient is unsure. Simply get in touch here.

If anyone has a specific back, neck or spinal issue, this could lead to a full online osteopathy consultation if it will benefit and assist them further.

Whilst the new service is remote, and therefore has basic limitations in place, I can still see what a computer or phone camera shows during the live consultation, and I can discuss ways to get the basics right whilst working at home. This could well avoid issues developing in coming weeks.
